A complete brand overhaul for a hyper local streetwear boutique.
APB Store, with its roots in five East Coast cities, champions community ties, driven by outreach and mutual inspiration. Their challenge for us? Forge a clear voice for their brand. So, we dialed in on a design vibe perfect for their apparel and laid down some rock-solid branding rules to follow.
Our collaboration extended beyond design, enhancing their social media presence and culminating in a special project with Adidas. Throughout, we've aimed to reflect APB's mission: elevating both community and individual.
Setting The Standards
Our first mission was to bring some order to the mix. They had loads of brand elements, so we stepped in to craft clear-cut guidelines. Think of it as giving the brand some boundaries, a playbook to refer to, ensuring their look and feel stays on point.
Finding Their Voice
For APB Store, we unearthed a hidden, community-centric narrative. This discovery became their brand's heartbeat. To give life to this story, we quickly crafted a design language, culminating in a streetwear capsule named "For Locals". It's more than apparel; it's APB's rediscovered voice and community tribute.
Round 2:
The Fresh Pack
With "The Fresh Pack", we amplified APB's community-centric narrative. While they're a streetwear beacon, housing big-name brands, the tagline "local goods daily" goes beyond fashion. It celebrates the neighborhood's rich tapestry of talents and APB's commitment to shopping and supporting local.
Digital Blueprint: Amplifying Social
In the digital realm, APB needed a unified beat. We crafted templates and set down guidelines, making it a breeze for the team to spin out cohesive content. This move didn't just rev up their design team's groove; it ensured every post popped with vibrant colors, speaking directly to APB's audience.
